Do you ever feel intimidated in front of your audience?
Do you crumble when pitching, presenting or at job interviews?
Do you worry that people don’t or won’t like what you’re saying?
Good, because that makes you human and if your human then there’s lots you can do about it.
Feeling self conscious is a killer when having to speak or perform in front of others. It can cause all sorts of anxieties that aren’t normally there. You get over stimulated with adrenaline, tense up and even start standing apologetically. Which of course can make you embarrassed and feel you’ve let yourself or team down…but remember thats normal okay 🙂
So many start ups and entrepreneurs have great ideas but seem to fall short when attempting to communicate those ideas with potential employers, investors and customers. All because of self consciousness.
In this short ninety minute workshop, I would like to offer some tools which can help you feel more confident and self assured when facing your public.
Using games, gentle exercises and actioning through verbs. My aim is to help unlock some of your fears about public speaking and re-train them to focus more outwardly rather than on the self.
If you’re still reading then this is definitely for you my friend…
…and no, don’t panic, you don’t have to get up and speak (this time), as I feel asking people to get up in front of an audience to overcome there fear of speaking is like asking someone who’s afraid of walking next to a motorway to play blindfold chicken.
Tell your team, tell a friend, tell yourself…you need this!
See ya there!
