Digital products and services are now increasingly created in teams and good teams’ dynamics is often at the core of successful organizations. Our understanding of working processes has remarkably changed over the last ten years. Work is no longer about the 9 to 5 cycle, and involves intensive collaboration, often of digital nature. Customers are all over the world, which makes it even more challenging to create successful products and services.
The workshop will aim to initiate an open discussion and experience sharing about such questions as:
⁃ How do we form and motivate teams?
⁃ What practices and principles are behind successfully functioning teams?
⁃ What kind of software and services enhance collaboration?
⁃ What can we learn about teamwork and collaboration from different industries?
⁃ How can top management support and empower teams’ operations?
The purpose of this workshop is to enhance understanding amongst practitioners and academics on successful practices of teamwork and collaboration in the digital era and to develop insights for improving teamwork in organizations.
